UN at 69: remember's UN building bomb blast in Abuja.

Mr Dauda Toure, who is the National Resident representative of United Nations in Nigeria have urged the Nigerian government to renovate the UN building that was bombed in 2011,this statement was made during the UN day celebration in Abuja. Mr Toure stated that they have been operating from a temporary accommodation that was provided by the Nigerian government and they can’t wait to go back to their main office premises. The News agency of Nigeria recalled that in 2012 the federal government approved N5.2 billion for the construction of the affected part of the building.
