An ancient Egyptian sarcophagus worth at least £6,000 has been discovered in a house in Essex.

An auctioneer named Mark Stacey has found a 3,000-year old coffin Colchester when he inspected a property, The wooden casket once housed the body of a noblewoman. The wooden casket will be auctioned on the 24 November 2014.
