But the passionate pair failed to notice that passing motorists were slowing down to watch them as the couple's car was rocking back and forth, with so many vehicles doing so that it caused a traffic jam.
Knutson and Jackson were arrested during the act and they allegedly told officers that they were too “caught up in the moment” to realise their activity had caused a line of traffic. They were arrested and charged with indecent exposure and disorderly conduct. Knutson was walked to the nearby Springfield Municipal Jail while Jackson was taken to Lane County Jail.
