Gunmen robbed the parents of South Africa footballer "Sibusiso Vilakazi".

The parents of another South African international star, Sibusiso Vilakazi have been robbed by gunmen while he was sleeping at their Johannesburg home. Vilakazi said his father was hit on the head with a gun, and his mother and brother tied up, before they were robbed. The Bafana Bafana footballer said he strongly believes he was the target after the attackers repeatedly asked his parents where he was.
"Everything happened when I was sleeping and I didn't hear anything, Imagine if I woke up and went in what would have happened?, These guys knew what they wanted. They came looking for me,they mentioned my name and asked my parents where is your child,” He said.
The suspects made away with jewelry, appliances, clothing and some cash. Vilakazi's teammate Meyiwa was shot dead while visiting his girlfriend few weeks ago in another suburb of Johannesburg in an attack that shocked the nation. On Tuesday, Vilakazi was named in the 26-man Bafana Bafana squad that will host Sudan on 15 November in Durban before travelling to west Africa to play against the Super eagles of  Nigeria on the 19th of November. The police spokes person Kay Makhubele says the hunt for the robbers has begun.
